I can only find one page of this, although I know that there is quite a lot more of it around. It is fairly obvious that my interests had shifted from superheroes to Elfquest. The protagonists in this story -- I can't remember its actual name -- were a bunch of little fairy-folk with antennae, who rode on birds. I'll try to dig up more pages the next time I'm at my mom's house.
It's fascinating, to me, to see what a quantum leap had taken place in both the art and approach to page layouts between the Legion Stallions and this. In real-world time, there was only about two or three years between them. I think I was about ten or eleven at this time.
